Stand in the Light Memory Choir 2024 Fall Showcase

Stand in the Light Memory Choir uses the power of singing to move people with memory loss and their care partners to rediscover themselves, make friends, laugh together and contribute to their community.

Established in 2016, the group is located in Eau Claire, WI, directed by Cathy Reitz & Kate Larson, and accompanied by Anne Kubiatowicz. The choir is made up of members with memory loss, their care partners, singing volunteers who share a love of music.

We sing old and new songs, learn vocal technique and ensemble skills and share musical memories together. No vocal experience is required, just a love of singing! We welcome any person with memory loss or dementia who wants to make good music and good friends!
