About the raaga: This raga which uses only 2 vikruta swaras, i.e., Gandhar and Nishaad. The Rishabh and Pancham are omitted in the aroha (ascending) and it uses all the swaras in the descending (abaroha), which makes it's Jati Audhav-Bakra Sampoorna. The time of singing/playing the raga is the Madhya Raatri (12AM). The vadi-samvadi of the raaga are Madhyam-Shadhaj respectively.
