Kya Hi Zawq Afzaa Shafaa'at Hai Tumhaari, Wah Wah

The Prophet's Sweet Intercession - Wah! Wah!

The Prophet's intercession and mediation for his ummah is the topic of this poem. It is proven through the blessed Qur'an and noble Sunnah that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) will intercede for his ummah on the Day of Judgement as well as helping them at the pond of AlKawther, the Meezaan (the scales where deeds will be weighed) and at the Bridge of Siraat. The poem also mentions some of the blessings that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) gave to his ummah in this world.

This poem is written by Imam Ahmad Raza Al-Qadiri (Allah be pleased with him).

Note: Each verse in this poem end with the words 'wah wah.' This is an expression used in Urdu to show amazement and awe. In the first draft of the English translation we did use the word wow as an equivalent, but in the end we decided to keep the original word from Urdu because it has an energy which is lost in translation.
