Input Bias Currents, Input Offset Currents and How To Measure Them Part 2/2 [Op-amp TS 12]

Описание к видео Input Bias Currents, Input Offset Currents and How To Measure Them Part 2/2 [Op-amp TS 12]

In this video we introduce a good circuit for measuring input bias and offset currents and then demo that circuit in the lab on an LM324.

In part 1 we introduced the concept of input bias and offset currents in op-amps, discussed the effect these currents have on the non-inverting and inverting amplifier configurations, and went over how to cancel out bias currents by adjusting the op-amp resistor values.

Concepts discussed:
- derivation of input bias current effect on a circuit with a series resistor
on the inverting input
- overview of an input bias current measurement circuit and how to calculate
ibias and ioffset from that circuit
- lab demo of measurement circuit on an LM324
- compiutation of the ibias and ioffset for the LM324 from the lab
