British intelligence fears Germany may be close to a weapon that could win them World War II. As German scientists cultivate a fledgling nuclear weapons program at a heavy water plant in Telemark, Norway, the British devise a plan to infiltrate and sabotage the heavily-guarded plant. This is the story of the special operation forces who led those missions–the men of Operation Grouse, Operation Freshman, and Operation Gunnerside.
