#99: Itoy 2020 Paraceratherium Review

I don’t have many prehistoric mammals but when it comes to a massive, impressive, superlative model like this IToy Paraceratherium, it’s a must have.

Arguably the biggest, baddest, heaviest mammal of all time… this ancient rhino stood as tall as 4.5m (14ft) at the shoulder, and weighed from 15-20t. Paraceratherium aka Idricotherium aka Baluchitherium approached what scientists think was the upper limit of mammalian size, and this model from IToy does it justice.

While Palaeoloxodon is considered a contender for the largest land mammal ever, Paraceratherium will always be my personal favourite. This is a wonderful model from IToy, delightful in its respect for realism and utilization of this large scale for very pleasing detail. I hope this review does it justice!
