War-centered comics have, for a long time, been the commoner’s insight into patriotism being served its due by people like us from around us. With Sgt. Franklin ‘Frank’ Rock, the reader meets an authoritative soldier leading the ‘Easy Company’ – a non-commissioned unit, fighting in the 2nd World War. While Rock cherished the bonding and loyalty that he experienced, having been a part of the brave unit that he was, he absolutely despised war and the destruction it brought along with it. The unit otherwise was just a bunch of individuals not too different from each other. Sgt. Rock and Easy Company's adventures took place simultaneously on both Earth-One and Earth-Two, with little to no differentiation between them.
