Future of greenkeeping in a world driven by sustainability | FEGGA and Sustainable Golf

FEGGA recently played host to Jonathan Smith and Kelli Jerome of GEO Foundation in delivering education to our FEGGA students at Kristianstad’s Golf Club, Sweden. The Seminar took on the theme of the “Future of greenkeeping in a world driven by sustainability”.

Jonathan led the first session, focusing on sustainability trends, looking at the big picture and the risks and the opportunities existing for golf. The 7 FEGGA Students were able offer their own perspectives and how important sustainability was to them all in their day to day working structures and their lives in general. They were asked how they see the big issues and the big picture; what worries them most about the future; how do they think golf is positioned to respond and to succeed.
