A Tactical History of Liverpool, Episode 0: Bill Shankly's Liverpool 1959-1964

In November 1959, Liverpool manager Phil Taylor resigned with the Reds in mid-table in the second division. He was replaced by Bill Shankly, who within five years had gotten Liverpool promoted and won the First Division, seeing them crowned champions of England for the first time since 1947.
