Rebuilding DESTROYED Honda Trail 90 Forks with eBay kit - Instructions and How To

Описание к видео Rebuilding DESTROYED Honda Trail 90 Forks with eBay kit - Instructions and How To

This week we are rebuilding and restoring some leaky and rusty Honda CT90 (trail 90) forks off of a K3 1971 CT90 basket case. We start off by removing the triple tree and forks from the frame and were in for a surprise. I got a Honda Trail 90 fork rebuild kit off eBay. You can also find the kit on Amazon. The kit comes with new springs and seals. The fork tubes were really rusty but luckily the chrome was still on the area where the seal will slide so I don't think we will have any leaking problems after a rebuild. We will completely tear down the forks, de-rust and recondition everything that reeds repair, install the new springs, dust boots and fork seals and hopefully we will have a set of forks that work like new!
