Chef Venkatesh Bhat stands tall as Tamil Nadu’s much-loved culinary personality with an enormous following across the globe. A hugely popular television cookery show host, YouTuber, whose channel ‘Venkatesh Bhat's Idhayam Thotta Samayal’ achieved prolific virality in a very short span of time, culinary powerhouse, entrepreneur and hospitality head honcho, he wears many hats. I know him from his time in Bengaluru over two decades ago. And so it was a pleasure to catch up with him after all these years over a memorable dinner at his vegetarian flagship restaurant, Royal Indianaa at The Accord Metropolitan in Chennai.

We spent a couple of hours eating, speaking of his journey, his mantra to success, his culinary philosophy, and lots more. Hope you find this special two-part episode as interesting as I did filming this conversation.
