Raider of the Lost Ark (Atari 2600)

It only took me 30 years to finally kill this one. Though I suck too much to get Howard Scott Warshaw's initials Easter Egg, I did get the Yar one. Three separate playthroughs, with victory on the last try and Yar on my first. As one of the few VCS games that requires 2 joysticks to play, you really need the instruction manual. I like the challenge overall, I just totally loathe the Map Room- so much waiting when there's puzzles I'd rather be solving.

Starting with attempt 1, at 2:58 I use the Chai method of getting to the black market, and bribe the Raving Lunatic when I get there. I enter the Map Room at 6:35 and the sun rises at 10:12 -that's a nice wait. At 15:45 I get the Yar. Unfortunately, I die during this run, but not before having some fun with Yar.

26:39 is where run 3 begins. I enter the map room at 29:18 and the sun rises at 32:00 . I start digging for the Ark at 38:00
