Summit hiking from Aeschiried to the Morgenberghorn 2249 m, Canton Bern 🇨🇭 🔁 17 km 🔃 1400 m

The 13th November 2022. Despite it wasn’t Friday, they said: 13 means bad luck! Stay rather at home, so you avoid any accident … Well, honestly? In my case it means nothing anyway 🤭

So, we awaited ice, high snow, strong wind, cloudy dark sky but a good company! And in the end just “the good company” fulfilled.
Equipped with guarding dog and our lucky mascot Charlie too, crampons, winter cloths, walking sticks, good food and quality drinks, we climbed up, got a little bit lost on the way (not my fault ) and overcame light rock-climbing…🤦🏻‍♀️ However, awarded with breathtaking views at cloudy lakes, blue sky, strong sun, deep conversations, lots of fun and happy buddies we reached the summit and had a snack overlooking “the four thousands” peaks in the distance - Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn, Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau.

What an amazing hike!

Well. You’re right. It’s always better not to walk alone. People died walking alone…
