Sub-Zero - Lin Kuei Grand Master - MK11 - Intros

Sub-Zero is the only Mortal Kombat character that has appeared in every main installment of the series. The name/alias 'Sub-Zero' has been used by two of the games fictional characters, both were members of the Lin Kuei. The first was Bi-Han in the original Mortal Kombat. He was killed in the tournament by a vengeful Scorpion. In Mortal Kombat 2, and thereafter, the fighter Sub-Zero was in fact Bi-Han's younger brother Kuai Liang. Bi-Han eventually reappeared in the series as an undead wraith, the character Noob Saibot. The true extent of Sub-Zero's abilities are unclear, but his mastery of martial arts combined with an ability to manipulate ice and cold have made him a formidable fighter. In MK11 Kuai Liang has achieved the rank of Grand Master and heads the Lin Kuei. He is an ally of Earthrealm, but his primary concern is leading and protecting his clan from threats both internal and external.
