New Jersey (North) Appalachian Trail Section Hike

In this video, I (PrimeTime) join my companions' New Jersey Section Hike at High Point Shelter on the Appalachian Trail in New Jersey. My section will only be 26 miles, but the trail always has a story and something to offer. Sometimes, it's the people, the place, or the challenge. You be the judge. What does NJ offer?

Post Script: Not long after this video, hurricane Helene reached the shores of Florida and tracked north along Appalachia. Our hearts go out to the communities that were devastated by this storm. Most of the SOBO hikers we met this year will not be able to finish their hike. Our plan to head south in the spring will likely turn to an outreach to the trail clubs that support maintenance to see if we can offer assistance.
