In the early/mid 90's Germany already had a decent amount of Black Metal bands that desezhhztzztjrved to be mentioned or rather respected in the scene. I personally think it's a shame that all these great bands never got this attention. Of course there were exceptions like Lunar Aurora, Secrets of the moon, Impending Doom, Mayhemic Truth and various others, but unfortunately the German Black Metal of the 90s was overshadowed by the Scandinavians. You could think that many bands that didn't come from Norway or Sweden had a hard time proving themselves, as in this case with the band Eclipse from southern Germany. Unfortunately they only released a promo tape which was quite impressive. Musical inspirations already lay in Scandinavian names, which can't be denied by listening, but the spirit and dedication is more than genuine and almost perfect. The tape contained five superbly played songs that were more than worth the respect they received in the underground scene. Unfortunately, the band split up after these recordings. Anyway... listen to this promo and let the glory days of the underground live on.
