NPC Advantages: gardevoir (life dew) is a requirement because otherwise sylveon spends too many turns using wish and runs out of clock time (and shell bell would sacrifice clear amulet which blocks spatk debuffs). sylveon (moonblast) and arboliva (seed sower) help.

Strategy: misty terrain (renew), 2x calm mind, wait for statwipe, fake tears, 7x calm mind, 3x stored power, attack cheer, terastalize, stored power to victory. if you trigger the 2nd primarina statwipe you can use 1 fake tears immediately.

Notes: steel tera is viable as well, and is more defensive, but due to lower damage output, it is more prone to running out of time right before KOing. sylveon's ability doesn't matter with psychic tera, but pixelate boosts the pre-tera damage of tera blast on a steel tera build.

Pros: excellent spatk and spdef stats, great HP stat, outspeeds primarina, no weaknesses, clear amulet protects against spatk debuffs (normally 30% chance) from moonblast before terastalizing. calm mind buffs spatk and spdef. misty terrain blocks primarina from using sing for 5 turns. fake tears debuffs spdef quickly when shield is down. stored power has a base power of 260 after 6 calm minds, 100 accuracy, and deals STAB damage when terastalized.

Cons: tera type mismatches base type and is not supereffective, can only buff one spatk stage per turn, can only buff one spdef stage per turn
