The Nest Learning Thermostat typically does not require common wire for installation with Boilers Systems which is unique for a Smart Thermostat System. How To Install Nest Thermostat For Boiler System:
1. Turn power off to existing boiler.
2. Remove old thermostat.
3. Wire Nest Thermostat.
4. Turn Power on to existing boiler.
