Hello! My name is Aaron, the guy behind the camera!

This is the farthest I've traveled for YouTube up to this point! I left Phoenix on Friday and stopped by The Jeddito Pow Wow. It started to rain a little, and that was enough for me to pack up my camera and continue my journey to Santa Fe for two days at The NakotahLarance Youth Hoop Dance Championship Competition!

On Sunday, the second day of the competition, I witnessed incredible performances, and I’m thrilled to announce that Talon Duncan emerged as the winner! It’s been an honor to document this prestigious event, held at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This championship celebrates American Indian hoop dance and Pueblo hoop dance, supported by the Lightning Boy Foundation.

Now, I’m heading back home to Phoenix to edit the footage and send out the images to the dancers. One day, I hope to have enough YouTube income to hire one of my friends as a photographer so I can focus on capturing these moments even better!
