Our tenth anniversary | We are SGN | SGN

In 2015, we celebrated our tenth anniversary. For the last ten years, we’ve delivered gas safely and reliably to over 5.8 million customers through our 74,000km of pipes.
We’ve come a long way since we were established in 2005. We were the first gas network to introduce a customer charter, providing excellent customer service and exceeding the measures set by Ofgem. We’ve also upgraded 8,500km of our network to plastic pipes, which are more durable, more reliable and safer for our customers.

The next ten years will see us investing millions to upgrade our network, using robots to minimise roadworks disruption and delivering green gas to homes and businesses.
