Luds Church & Roaches Walk

This 5 mile circular walk in the Staffordshire Moorlands is a Peak District hidden gem! Starting at Danebridge head towards Gradbach, from there follow the signs to the amazing Luds Church, then on up to the Roaches Ridge. After taking in the views, follow the signs for Swythamley / Danebridge to back where you began.

If you are thinking of doing this walk here's a few little bits that might be helpful:

🥾 Luds Church is pretty muddy all year round, so good footwear is a must!
🅿️ Free at Danebridge / opposite Wincle Brewery.
📍5.3 miles, but there is lots of paths to extend the route if you wanted.
🕙 This route took me around 2.5 - 3 hrs
