President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. casts his vote for the 2023 Barangay Elections at Precinct 0036A, Cluster Number 0036A in Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School (MMMES), Lacub, Batac City, Ilocos Norte on October 30, 2023. 

President Marcos Jr. is voting for his desired representative—one (1) barangay chairman (Punong Barangay) and seven (7) barangay councilors (Sangguniang Barangay). 

The barangay election is the smallest political and administrative unit in the country that embodies the values of democracy and community spirit. There are 42,027 barangays across the country as of 2023.
