This is my review of the 2015 Kino Lorber presentation of the Blackhawk films restored Phantom of the Opera. This includes the restoration of the 1929 version in multiple frame rates with different scores plus an upscaled SD transfer of the superior 1925 surviving version with color tinting. This release includes a number of extras and does improve on some of the flaws of the previous two Image Blu-ray release but sadly does not fix everything and has issues of it's own. It is comparable to the BFI Region B release of the competing Photoplay restoration.
