... I understand that the melody for this carol was taken from Petrie's collection, and lyrics arranged by Seán Óg Ó Tuama. My source is the amazing book 'Ceol Na Nollag' published by Cló Chaisil, by Fionnuala De Barra-Cusack. This is an improvised arrangement, performed in the sitting room, and recorded in one take.
