Honing a Japanese kamisori, Stropping and Hair test

Honing or refreshing the edge of your Japanese kamisori is a very simple process!
For this kamisori I chose to use a 3:1 ratio Omote/Ura.
Stones: Naniwa 8.000 and 12.000.
I am using very light pressure, enough to keep the blade flat on the stone.

6:06 Use light pressure and make sure the blade is flat on the leather. Do it slowly!
Kamisori has a short blade and pointy corners, if use too much pressure apply it uneven, it can cut the leather!
