American National Wanted by Belize Police for Multiple Complaints

American national Joseph Camp remains wanted by police for several complaints made against him. Camp made the news back in April after he was charged with spreading false news. Since then, he has taken to social media to air his discontent with the Belize police department and Police Commissioner Chester Williams. Apart from memes posted to his accounts mocking Williams, Camp has also made certain accusations against Williams’s son regarding the legitimacy of his auto dealer business. Commissioner Williams says he feels that Camp feels emboldened to make such claims because he is not in Belize to face any consequences.

Camp reached out to our newsroom to say that he has left the country since April 12. He added that his social media accounts were hacked and that he did not post the content for which is now being sought.
