Kate Reid's lifelong obsession with perfection fuelled a path from Formula 1 racing engineer to world-famous croissant chef, with a dangerous detour in between.
This short film, created by journalist Wendy Hargreaves and videographer Kaine Harling, won awards at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Las Vegas in 2019.
Kate Reid's success in pastry and business has continued to soar since the film's production.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she adapted her business to online ordering and created a whole new legion of fans across her home town of Melbourne.
