The Beatles | Anna (Go To Him) | Guitar and Bass Cover (Instrumental)

I haven't recorded any covers from the Please Please Me album in a while, so here is my take on Anna. Hope you enjoy! Make sure to subscribe for more videos, and comment what songs you'd like to see covered!

Anna was one of ten songs recorded on February 11th 1963; the marathon recording session for the Beatles' debut album, Please Please Me. With time running out, and still half an album to record, the group started work on five cover songs that they had recently been playing on stage. The first of which, was Anna (Go To Him), originally performed by Arthur Alexander.

Since the Beatles already had the arrangement rehearsed, it only took them three takes to record, with take three deemed the best. No overdubs or edits were necessary.

Note: My cover is 35 cents flat, like the record. I'm guessing the tape was slowed down on the original.
