Here is my cover of It's All Over Now by the Rolling Stones! The opening riff to this song has to be one of my favourite guitar tones of all time. It's such a huge sounding reverb. I hope you enjoy! Please subscribe to my channel and let me know what songs you'd like to see next!

The Rolling Stone recorded their version of Bobby Womack's 'It's All Over Now' in June 1964 at Chess Studios. First released as a single in the UK, it reached the top spot in the UK singles chart, giving the band their first number 1 hit.

There is some debate as to what guitars were used on this track. Mostly Brian Jones. The center of this debate is weather he used a 6 or 12 string. My guess is both! It seems clear that the repeating riff through the verse is a six string, but overdubbing the 12-string in the intro, choruses and outro really seemed to get an accurate sound. Bill Wyman also confirmed in a 1964 interview that they used a 12-string on the song.
It's possible that Brian used his Gretsch 6118, but I wanted to bust out the Jaguar as a substitute for the Vox Teardrop. I also double-tracked the Jag through the outro, just to give it a thicker sound like the record.

Keith's part is pretty straightforward; until you get to the solo. It's pretty chaotic, and can be fairly difficult to get accurate. I've done my best to improvise it here. Note that the audio and video sometimes doesn't sync up during the solo, this is because I've comped a few takes together. My guess is that he was using the Epiphone Casino on the track.

Instrument List
Fender Classic Player Jaguar HH
Epiphone Casino Standard Sunburst
