Fall Boating in Desolation Sound Part 2 - 2023 Season Comes to an End - 60th Birthday, Fog and Orca

This video wraps up our 2023 Summer Boating season. There are numerous clips from our stay at Walsh Cove Marine Park. For the most part, we were the only boat in this gorgeous anchorage northwest of spectacular Desolation Sound on the BC coast. Love fall boating!

Highlights were fishing on my 60th birthday and having a pod of Orca swim right by one day. The last day was exceptional. We witnessed a fog bow as the early morning fog lifted during our departure. As we left Desolation Sound, 3 humpback whales cruised by to see us off.

The boat is now heading out of the water and into a storage yard for winter. We will transfer back into our fifth-wheel trailer and head south as usual. Stay tuned for our 2023/24 snowbird travels. Cheers, Ray
