Mega Man 3 - Needle Man's Stage

hums along to the background music Ah~ Needle Man's stage music is easily one of my favourite songs from the whole series. Not all Mega Man music needs to be energetic, fast paced and crazy... I like the more laid-back stuff just as much! The stage itself makes me a little sad though as it is the anti-Top Spin! There is maybe two enemies where using Top Spin is effective... but you can just run by them safely. Oh well~ Mega Man probably needed a break from all of that spinning anyways. XD The stage itself is quite fun and stands out a bit more than some of the other Mega Man 3 stages, so I still enjoy it even without Top Spin.

Needle Man himself is very dependent on your hand-eye coordination and your ability to react to the pattern of needles he shoots at you. This can either make him semi-difficult, or extremely difficult if your aim is to avoid taking any hits at all. Missing a shot with his weakness, the Gemini Laser, is also very painful as it will proceed to bounce aimlessly around the room for a few seconds, leaving you WIDE OPEN! Needle Man moves pretty fast, so missing a shot if not fired at point-blank is actually fairly likely. Even though I can dodge the needles somewhat consistently, I still give Needle Man the label of hardest robot master of Mega Man 3.
