So following the inspection of our weak mortar earlier this week, the NHBC have requested David Wilson Homes to rack out 25mm of mortar and repoint, however the issue with weak mortar clearly goes deeper than 25mm and is evident on the inside of the garage.

The NHBC were unable to offer any explanation for the weak mortar and refused to take a sample for testing, this left us having to take 2 samples and sending them off to separate labs for testing.
