Undralla payasam

Ingredients:
2 cups of Wheat flour, 750 grams of jaggery, cardamoms, cashews, raisins, almonds, ghee and 75 grams of poppy seeds

Pre:
• Chop almonds into small pieces
• Chop cashews into small pieces
• Crush cardamoms
• Take 1 and half cup of wheat flour and prepare dough
• Roll the dough into thin threads as shown and cut them into 2 inch pieces
• Soak 50gms of poppy seeds in water for 15 mins and grind it into a fine paste
• Take half cup of wheat flour and make it into a fine paste

Cooking :

• Take a pan and dry roast poppyseeds for 2 mins and take this to aside
• Now, take a pan and add 2 tablespoons of ghee
• Add chopped cashews, almonds, raisins.
• Fry them until they turn into golden brown color
• Add 6 glasses of water into the pan and boil it for 10 mins
• Add 750gms of Jaggery and Let it boil for 20 mins and Mix well
• Now, add wheat flour threads and keep on stirring
• Add the wheat flour paste and keep on stirring
• Cook it for 10 mins and add 2 more cups of water to adjust consistency
• Mix it well
• Cover it with a lid for 10 mins
• Add poppy seeds paste and mix it well
• Add dry roasted poppy seeds and mix it well
• Add crushed cardamoms and mix it well
• Add 2-3 tablespoons of ghee and mix it well
• Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10 more minutes
• Add roasted almonds, cashews and raisins and mix it well
• Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 10 more minutes

Now Undralla payasam is ready
