I was craving some Lake District wild camping, and had heard about an epic long distance trail called The Bob Graham Round on the Hiiker app (link to app below) Now this trail is usually meant for fell runners to complete an ultra challenge, but looking at the route, I thought what a beautiful hiking trail it would be.

It is a 63 mile loop trail that starts and ends in Keswick, it has a total elevation of 7743m and takes in a whopping 42 peaks, 39 of which are Wainwrights! This was going to be pretty tough with our full wild camping packs, but we were up for the challenge!

The Lake District national park is insanely stunning, and I needed the hiking training ready for The Tour du Mont Blanc I would be attempting next month. The Bob Graham Round hike would certainly be one of the most appropriate long distance trail UK to build up my muscles and I would also get to tick Scafell Pike off my bucket list in the process.
