Wakehurst

Wakehurst #parkrun, a new 2-lap event that started in April 2024. It takes place inside Wakehurst gardens, a spectacularly beautiful landscaped area managed by Kew Gardens. It’s hilly, but it’s worth it!

As runners we are a competitive bunch, but we only compete with ourselves! Anyone can join and enjoy a weekly parkrun 5K, run, jog or run-walk it!

Finally, one thing that makes exploring different parkrun venues even more interesting for me is chasing parkrun challenges. They are completely pointless, but completing challenges and filling up maps is fun and it gives me one more reason to be consistent in attending weekly parkrun events and improve myself in my running journey.
