Ed Takes A Bath

My second tobacco pipe "Ed" needed a good cleaning when I first brought it home. Here's a rundown of the process.

In this video I make mention of Reborn Pipes, a blog run by Steve Laug. At one point I discuss learning about the use of acetone on Perspex stems from this blog. That memory was incorrect; the suggestion to use acetone was found on a forum post at the Pipes Magazine website. I discovered my mistake when going back over some old video footage during the editing process.

Steve Laug clearly takes his work very seriously and has been a wealth of information for me. I would hate to give an attribution of advice to him that amounts to a misquote, and in addition could conflict with his opinion on sound methods for restoring tobacco pipes.
