The piece takes us to an imaginary cosmic journey to the black hole 'Cygnus X-1' in constellation Swan. It proved the very existence of this incredible cosmic force.
As a child, the composer was immensely fascinated by it.
The piece has four main parts which are subdivided as follows:
Glancing at the stars..
Magnificent Cosmos
Interstellar Journey
the Black hole beckons
bending gravity and light
the void: time and reality broken down
falling from infinity back to reality
Magnificent Cosmos: creator of the universe
the enigma remains..
