Forest Island ORV Park, Michigan - June 2024

To kick off the summer we went on a family vacation with ‪@bowgrenmotorsports115‬'s parents and sister in Michigan! The first park we went to was Forest Island ORV Park, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Everyone has varying skill levels and machines so we weren't too sure what to expect. The ride started off a bit slow as this was a new park and a start to the vacation.

Day 1 we started at the North trail head and headed south on the trail. For the most part there is just one trail, we ended up stopping about halfway through the trail and turning around and heading back to the vehicles. The weather that day was very rainy.

Day 2 we started at the South trail head and headed north on the trail. I wanted to try showing the entire park so the Day 2 part of the video starts on our way back to the South trail head from the halfway mark. The kawi was having some issues with the chain, so the last bit we ended up having to tow it back.

Overall, it was a pretty decent park, no hills or rocks, flat and easy ride. Good place if you are wanting to get out and cruise. For Michigan they do require an ORV license and trail pass, for out-of-state residents they can easily be obtained online. Park info below!
