MAZAMITLA Plaza Principal Festival del Venado 2024 4K | Jalisco 🇲🇽

Mazamitla proviene del náhuatl; es la unión de los vocablos: "mazatl" (venado), "mitl" (flecha) y "tlan" (lugar).

Una iniciativa visual que al igual que Rosa Fest ó Cow Parade celebra la creatividad para impulsar el desarrollo turístico de Mazamitla. A través del arte, podemos declarar espíritu de Mazamitla, resaltar su oferta turística como Pueblo Mágico y colocarse como promotores culturales en Jalisco.

El proyecto consiste en comisionar a 20 artistas que intervendrán 20 venados realizados en su estructura escultórica. Estos 20 pintores reconocidos de la plástica Jalisciense entregarán su obra para que se exhiba en los espacios turísticos y representativos de Mazamitla y Guadalajara durante por lo menos un año.

Mazamitla comes from the Nahuatl language; it is the union of the words: ‘mazatl’ (deer), ‘mitl’ (arrow) and ‘tlan’ (place).

A visual initiative that, like Rosa Fest or Cow Parade, celebrates creativity to promote tourism development in Mazamitla. Through art, we can declare the spirit of Mazamitla, highlight its tourist offer as a Pueblo Mágico and position itself as a cultural promoter in Jalisco.

The project consists of commissioning 20 artists who will intervene 20 deer in its sculptural structure. These 20 renowned painters of the Jalisco plastic arts will deliver their work to be exhibited in the tourist and representative spaces of Mazamitla and Guadalajara for at least one year.
