Marius Flothuis (1914 - 2001) wrote Twee Stukken (Two Pieces) in June 1944 for his fellow prisoners Freek Mulders and Wim Gaffel in concentration camp Vught near 's Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. On Saturday 22 April 2023, Wim Hoogewerf performed the two pieces in the auditorium of the same camp, now Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught, before five good friends.
