Lucas continues to goad James and deliberately smashes a bottle of wine, which leads to James yelling at him and Ste walking in. James is close to revealing what's been going on but Lucas stops him and the two come up with a story that Ste buys. Peri and Romeo tell James and Leela that they slept together when Rayne was killed and James takes the news badly, because of Juliet. Peri and Romeo talk about what happened between them and then Ste and Leela give them their support. James presents Ste with an invitation to the Harcourt masquerade charity ball, and James delights in seeing Lucas's reaction to Ste's reaction towards him. Lucas is not happy...
