Dentro do noso interese pola recuperación de sons e instrumentos antigos, o Aulós é omnipresente en moitas das tradicións musicais en toda a cunca mediterránea. E o propio Estrabón cita o Aulós e máis o Salpynx como instrumentos que tocaban os pobos do Norte da península.
Ben seguro que o Aulós tamén sería tocado polos kallaikos, nalgunhas das súas moi variadas configuracións.

We are interested in the revival of ancient sounds and instruments. The aulós is present in many of the musical traditions in all the mediterranean . Strabo cited the aulós and the Salpynx as the main instruments played by the people of the North of Iberian Peninsula.

Surely the aulós was also played by the Kallaikos, in any of its very different models.
