Epsom Racecourse, Surrey.



Crowds stream across the downs on their way to the course. Pearly / Pearlie Kings and Queens ride in on a carriage. Various shots of the Derby Day crowds moving amongst stalls etc. Lots of charrabancs. Lots of umbrellas because of the rain.



Aerial views over racecourse showing the size of the crowds. More views of crowds. Shots of Prince Monalulu gives racing tips to the crowd.



Queen Mary and King George V get out of car. Views of the Royal Family in their Box. They are accompanied by Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII and Duke of Windsor), Prince Albert, the Duke of York (later King George VI) and Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester.



More shots of the crowd (Sound Track runs out). A musician sings a song and plays a squeezebox. Different angle of the arrival of the Royal Party.



Horses are led down to the start. More shots of King and Queen in Royal Box. Horses line up for the start. Various shots as they race around the track. The finish.
