After becoming the first child in the UK to be prescribed medicinal cannabis on the NHS last year, Billy Caldwell’s potentially deadly seizures disappeared for months. However, after Home Office officials warned their GP to stop prescribing the drug to her son, his mother Charlotte was left with no choice but to travel to Canada and obtain the medical cannabis legally over there.
