I saved my Motorcycle Carburetor by using Acid to remove a broken Air Fuel Mixture Tip

Описание к видео I saved my Motorcycle Carburetor by using Acid to remove a broken Air Fuel Mixture Tip

While doing a carburetor clean on my 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 250r, I pulled apart one side to find a broken tip from an air fuel mixture screw.
I needed to remove that broken tip for the carbs to work.
I used auto dental picks which did nothing.
The Air Fuel screw is made of brass.
I had recently seen a video of brass being dissolved by nitric acid, which made me think.
I found that nitric acid is used as gold tester and ordered a bottle for $6.00.
As you can see, the nitric acid was allowed to work for about 10-15 minutes and loosened the tip as it fell out.
As I read online, many people suggested drilling through the hole which would just ruin the carbs.
I believe this is the most effective solution for this problem many of you may experience.
