Tim Grayson, the Green Party mayoral candidate for Leicester, talks about why he is running for mayor and what his priorities would be if elected into office. Tim Grayson was speaking at the mayoral hustings that were organised by The Race Equality Centre (TREC), and which gave Leicester's mayoral candidates the chance to respond to question from Leicester's racial minorities. The candidates who took part in the hustings were: Tim Grayson, Green Party; Adrian Barnes, Liberal Democrats Party; Paul Bremner, Conservative Party; Barbara Potter, TUSC/ Leicester Independent Councillors Against Cuts; Avtar Singh, Independent; and, Sir Peter Soulsby, Labour Party. Dutch Veldhuizen, the UKIP candidate, was also invited but did not turn up. (For photos from the event, see http://on.fb.me/1QOeFsu and for videos from the hustings, see http://bit.ly/1bhAxva).
