VIC High Country Ep 12 - Feb 23 - Barkley River Jeep Track 2kms of carnage

The Barkley River Jeep Track, we had never heard of it, let alone put it in our list of tracks to do in the Vic High Country. It was however a short cut or so we thought to where we were planning on setting up camp for the night. The track into it was very tightly lined with trees, but it gave no hints as to what we encounted was we dropped over the first rocky ledge in Barkley River Jeep track and there was no turning back once you start, at no point did we find anywhere to turn around even if we wanted to. To say this was the hardest track we had done to that point would be putting it mildly. We have done plenty of difficult tracks and hard loops, but the consistency of difficult and vehicle damaging rocks, ruts, logs, trees has to be up there with any track anywhere. I still don't know if it would be easier going up it not down it as you could probably control things a bit easier going up, but that's not the way we happened to come onto the track and we may not get back there to try it the other way (maybe). It's a long episode and it was hard to get all the cameras going at all the right times, but sit back and
enjoy this awesome track from start to finish.
