Labor Day Weekend Travels in DC

This is the first video in a three part series documenting my travels "back east" visiting family, among other things. For this first part, I came to Washington, DC to check out the place because I hadn't been back since the holiday season 2023. After riding in on the VRE Fredericksburg Line, I check out what had become of the Marriott Wardman Park hotel before going to the Arboretum. After that, I check out two more of my favorite spots in DC: the US Botanic Garden and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.

The latter of those two is currently undergoing renovations, and you now have to get a timed ticket to go in. Half the exhibit space is under construction, and the other half has gotten a major update.
