Shell Out Recipe.
Instead of dining out which is expensive, cook up your favourite seafood with this very easy & delicious step by step recipe!

For Shell Out Recipe, follow the blanching/method used in the visual for each item used. The spice paste is the same as the recipe below, just double/triple/multiply accordingly.

CHICKEN / INDIAN CURRY RECIPE
(can be used for crab curry, prawns, fish, eggs, sardine ...recipe below is for 4-6 persons)

Ingredients
1 medium chicken, cut into desired sizes
300 g onions
4 cloves garlic
1 1/2 inch ginger
4 ‐ 5 heapful tablespoon curry powder
1 - 2 heapful tablespoon chilli powder (or more)
1 tablespoon coriander powder
2 inch cinnamon stick
2 star anise
2 strips of curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds (jintan manis/halus) or cumin
1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds (halba)
Salt, Msg, to taste
2 cups oil (use measuring cup)
3 cups water

METHOD
Blend onions, garlic and ginger, set aside
You can also combine with it with the curry and chilli powder, mix into a thick spice paste and set aside
Heat oil and fry cinnamon, star, jintan, halba and curry leaves till aromatic
Add in mixed spice paste and continue to fry
Add chicken, stir well and continue to fry for a few more minutes
Add water and potatoes, then salt/msg to taste and cover with lid, cook till chicken is cooked and potatoes are soft
Gravy should be medium thick.


• All measurements are as per measuring cups/spoons.
• Salt measurement may vary, taste and add more/less to your preference
• When adding water, always ensure that the level is just nice to cover your chicken and potatoes to allow it to boil and cook well.
