Me and My Meisterstück 146 with Mystery Black Ink Montblanc

The Mont Blanc Meisterstück 146 from the early 1980’s. Is it only a status pen for non pen people? Was it worth it as a fine gift? As a legacy to use and pass on? All I can say is that I love my Mont Blanc Meisterstück 146 and have been using it for 40 years! It has been my main correspondence pen as well as document signing pen ever since I received it as a pre Christmas/highschool graduation/birthday gift.

Mont Blanc Mystery Black is an odd ink. I really bought my first bottle because I liked the shape of the bottle and the cool pull-tab box. I have discovered over the years that Mystery Black is a very reliable ink and what it lacks in stick to it (the paper) ivness it makes up for by not drying out or sticking to the interior of my pen.
